Nick Temperley
As an undergraduate I read Biology (with a year in Europe) at the University of York and Universitaet Bayreuth (Germany). Following this I persued my interest in evolutionary biology at the University of Glasgow by studying an M.Res. in Evolutionary Biology and Systematics.
I am currently doing a Ph.D. looking at the evolution and genetic variation of avian Toll-like receptor (TLR) genes. My research interests focus on the patterns and processes of molecular and genomic evolution, gene family evolution and phylogenetics.
